London Liverpool Street GBP £15.50 (All fares are for a single journey.)
Stansted Airport GBP £12.50
The average taxi fare to London Heathrow is £105, Stansted is £65.00 and the train fare to London Liverpool Street from Ipswich is (depending on time of travel) in excess of £20. The taxi fare to Ipswich train station from the College is approximately £20. (All fares are approximate and do not include reductions for a student rail card or similar where applicable).
All bus charges will be added to the termly account. In some circumstances, a fare incurred in a particular term may not appear on the fee account until the following term.
Flight Details
We need your co-operation to ensure that the service is efficient. If your son or daughter wishes to use the College bus service and they fly into Stansted or London Heathrow Airport, we must have their full flight details, departure airport, flight number, flight arrival time and Airline carrier (BA, Lufthansa etc). It is also an advantage if any mobile telephone numbers are given. If this information is not provided 24 hours before the pick-up time at either airport, the bus escort will be unable to wait on the off-chance that the pupil will turn up.
Please note:
All pupils are eligible to travel on any of the bus services, although priority will be given to those pupils traveling from overseas.
