Journeys of Self Discovery
Framlingham College has built up quite a tradition for Journeys of Self-Discovery over the last decade. Every two years over a fifth of the sixth form join as expeditioners on one of these adventures. Expeditions have taken place in Bolivia, Namibia, Nepal, Venezuela, Peru, and Tibet en route to the North Face of Everest.
We endeavour to promote a spirit of adventure and give young men and women the opportunity to plan, fundraise and lead their own expeditions in remote and spectacular parts of the world that are steeped in culture and lost in time. Future destinations may include Borneo, Africa, Bhutan and Mongolia - "the world "is our oyster!"
