Houses

Garrett - Kerrison - Moreau - Pembroke - Rendlesham - Stradbroke - Victoria

The College has seven integrated day and boarding Houses; three for girls and four for boys. These Houses offer a secure and comfortable base for students throughout their time at the school and the Housemaster or Housmistress becomes a vitally important link between home and school.

All students meet weekly in small House based tutorial groups with a  Tutor who monitors their academic progress and performance and checks to ensure that the correct balance of academic and extra-curricular activity is being maintained. House common rooms are used for social relaxation and visiting between Houses is encouraged outside the school timetable.

Both the boys' and the girls' Houses enjoy a healthy competitive spirit challenging for the annual award of House Shields in sports, music and singing, art, and academic areas of College life.

All teaching staff are actively involved in the House system and alongside them is a team of well-trained House Prefects who accept responsibility for specific areas of House activity.
