National Youth Theatre success for Year 11 student

Framlingham College Year 11 student, Lewis Myers-Allen, has won a coveted place to train with the National Youth Theatre this summer. With 4,000 applicants for 60 places, this is one of the most sought after drama courses in the country.
Lewis has been in many school productions, most recently as Moonface Martin in 'Anything Goes'. After the summer he will be invited to audition for the NYT's productions and activities in London, on tour and abroad. The Headmaster of Framlingham College, Mr Paul Taylor remarked "this is a wonderful and fully deserved recognition of Lewis's exceptional talent and hard work. He is one of those actors that can lift a whole production through his presence, character and conviction on stage."
